The file "contr_global.nc" shows you the basic simulation. The rest is named as in your slides "contr_??.nc". They are averaed over two years long simulations.

Variables in the files are:

flight_dist_acc: flight distance of the AEDT 2006 inventory for all levels in km/(s*m2) used in the certain simulation

cover_tot: cover due to contrail cirrus of all ages and all optical depth, overlapped with the maximum random overlap scheme

cover_tot_tau1: cover due to contrail cirrus of all ages and optical depth above 0.02, overlapped with the maximum random overlap scheme

cover_tot_tau2: cover due to contrail cirrus of all ages and optical depth above 0.05, overlapped with the maximum random overlap scheme

sradt2: SW forcing due to contrail cirrus

tradt2: LW forcing due to contrail cirrus

sradt2_2: net forcing due to contrail cirrus
