README ****** December 16, 2024 Global atmospheric chemistry model data as described in Hodnebrog et al. (in preparation): "Multi-model estimates of global climate effects of anthropogenic reactive nitrogen". For questions about the dataset, please contact Øivind Hodnebrog (oivind.hodnebrog@cicero.oslo.no). Data are organised in folders for each of the two experiments: CTRL_2019 and No_allNr. There are subfolder for each of the five models: CESM2 (run by Caroline Jouan), GFDL (run by Fabien Paulot), GISS (run by Caroline Jouan), LMDZ-INCA (run by Didier Hauglustaine) and OsloCTM3 (run by Øivind Hodnebrog). For each of the chemistry-climate models, six variables have been made available (in netcdf format): - ch4: 3-d volume mixing ratio of methane - mmrno3fine: 3-d mass mixing ratio of fine-mode nitrate aerosols - mmrso4: 3-d mass mixing ratio of sulphate aerosols - o3: 3-d volume mixing ratio of ozone - oh: 3-d volume mixing ratio of hydroxyl radical - ps: 2-d surface pressure (3-d pressure for LMDZ-INCA, pmid) For the one chemistry-transport model (OsloCTM3), several variables have been made available. These data are organized as one netcdf file per month of the 12-month simulation.
