CESM-simulation output for historical, SSP126, SSP245 and SSP370 are found in the four folders:

Historical has data for the years 1980 - 2014
(1850-2014 for the file types cam.h0, cice.h and clm2.h0)
The SSP's have data for the years 2015 - 2099
For SSP126 files for the years 2050-2099 are from a restart, and same for SSP370 years 2070-2099

Each folder contains the subfolders:
atm, cpl, glc, ice, lnd, ocn, rest, rof   #logs?? and run for hist

For every filetype, this directory also contains a csv file describing the variables contained in in the file type. (Does not pertain to pointer files, and restart file formats are not described separately).
