To start from scratch (i.e. if CO2 is updated, or new emissions are added) 0. Use "VIEWHAR.exe" to convert .har files to .gdx files. For GTAP9, we need three data files: BaseData.gdx, gsdvole.gdx (energy volume), and CO2.gdx 1. Put all three .gdx files into \data. 2. Run zip2gdx.gms (make sure filenames are correct, and some edits may be required to ensure ghg data is picked up. 3. Use gtapaggr.gms (with appropriate source set) to undertake aggregation (make sure the .map file correct). 4. Use filter.gms if desired. The original filter.gms is not suitable for the aggregated dataset. The key differences are for variables eghg - ghgems, vtwr - aggvtwr, and new parameters only for GRACE model. 5. Based on my experience, the too small numbers always lie in the intermediate inputs. So just delete the extreme small numbers in this variable will work well.
